The boy's bounce back after their first lose last week with a win over Hartford! JV1 played their JV2 team and won all 3 sets. Varsity went 3-1 in a great game lead by David Ackles!
Game one we always come out fired up and firing full blast! We controlled the game with relentless attacks out of the middle by both Mason Lavoncher and David Ackles. We take game one 25-21.
Game two seems to be the biggest challenge in a our matches. Hartford took a early lead and we could never get over the hump to take back that lead. We would tie it or bring within 1 point but never struck gold with any runs. We battled to the end but a few errors towards the end gave Hartford the edge and we dropped game two 24-26.
We know this to a challenge for our team this season and the guys were determined to prove their dominance. We get back into rhythm right away with more kills from the our middles. We take the next two sets 25-21 and 25-18.
